Wheelie Good Ride Academy

Over 200 children and 3 adults have learned how to ride a bike through Wheelie Good Ride Academy since 2024!

What We Do:

Wheelie Good Ride Academy staff strives to meet students where they are at with our specialized programming. We provide the only student learn to ride curriculum available through Lincoln Parks and Recreation and learn to ride opportunities available to Lincoln Public School teachers.

No matter your age, ability, or experience level, there’s a seat on this tandem for you! We welcome all riders to integrate movement and play into their daily routine.

• "Cycling has demonstrated to be an ideal lifelong prescription for mental and physical wellbeing. According to one study conducted in partnership with Outride, cycling has a dramatic and positive impact on measurable learning outcomes and overall wellbeing. The Center for Disease Control estimates 1 in 9 students between ages 3-17 are currently diagnosed with ADHD.  For these students, we know that learning to ride a bicycle is proven to support mental and physical wellness, school attendance, improved comprehension and test scores, and elevated probability of seeking education beyond high school.
